Zanji lay adrift in his tiny row boat upon the great vast seas of the East blue. The sails were out as he lay on his stomach away from the sun. He lay dreaming happily his right leg sprawled out at a angle a blanket covering his back. He smacked his lips in his sleep as he dreamed of a wondrous feast as he was crowned the pirate king. A seagull passing over head gave a loud caw and he was awakened from his blissful dream. He was startled and his body jolted his head on the helm. His eyes bulged as he gave a cry of pain and he slowly crawled out from his makeshift bed. The boat would rock as small waves crashed upon his boat. He let out a long yawn and scratched his back with his right hand as he looked out onto the horizon. There he saw a sight he was glad to see finally. He rubbed his eyes making sure it wasn't a mirage and sure enough it was real a island. He let out a cheer and would of jumped for joy but he knew better he may be on a large ship but he still had to be careful to to fall into the sea. He quickly pulled the sails in as the ship quickly brought him to docking area. His pirate flag lowered and hidden inside the crows nest of the ship. He was so excited this was the first island he would of visited since he left his home. He hummed to himself as he dropped anchor and tied down his ship with some help from some friendly civilians. It was no easy task navigating this large ship but that's what he got for being a one man pirate crew. He was glad to be out of the water onto dry land again. He stretched out his arms and legs and began making his way into town. He hung his violin case over his right shoulder and walked slowly catching the different sites and activities of the island. He was amazed at everything he had never been on his home island before and he was excited at all the different sight, and smells of this town. His stomach growled loudly as he caught the scent of meat cooking. His mouth watered as he reached into his pocket and found nothing but pocket lint. He sighed and tossed the lint onto the ground and hung his head low and walked away saddened. "I guess I'm street performing." he retched and coughed for a moment and shook his head at the unpleasant smell that would surely greet hims nose. He sighed as he walked down the street and found a main plaza like area. there were lots of people about shopping when he was hit with a idea. He smiled and walked towards a white marble fountain and took a seat on the outer edge and opened his violin case and pulled out his violin. People loved street performers after all he cleared his throat and placed his violin out towards the crowd and began to play a song mournful yet with a great beauty his fingers moving gracefully across the strings, a feeling of being at peace was etched on his face. It was her first shore leave ever. Maybird had served on her first vessel only for a week before and now that Squad 11 was out at sea, she was allowed to tour the Island off duty. And that meant she could finally wear one of those outfits she had been waiting to try out. Dawn Island was known for it's sun, so she wore a white and blue striped sleeveless one piece dress with a sailor-style collar, which was primarily white with two blue stripes along the edge. The bottom portion of the dress was pleated, but done in such a way one couldn't tell where the shirt stopped and the skirt began. She had a pair of white ankle socks and blue sneakers to finish up the look. She kept her billfold and a few other things in her large wicker purse, slung over her shoulder.
She figured she would try some of the local fare in the downtown area. Something scrumptious and nummy *click* but high in vitamins and nutrients *slick* was her current aim. Asshe entered the busy center, she saw a boy sitting on the edge of the marble fountain. He was playing a violin quite beautifully *click* and precisely the notes were within 1/10 of a octive in difference and the variation was kept at a constant *click* sound. Very lovely. Walking over to the musician, she witnessed others tossing a few beli into the case as they passed. A couple people were standing around listening to it. So apparently there was a listening fee in the public area. *click* The amount in the case was small but the varience in currency deposts were significant. No change was made suggesting that what get dropped in the case was property of the case owner. Calculations determined that the average fee was 100 Beli.*click* She did quite enjoy the music, so she should pay the fee. She didn't want to steal from him after all. Opening her billfold, she removed a 1000 beli note from it and set it down in the case. Giving him a smile before stepping back to listen again. |

As he finished his song he took a few polite bows and turned his head and saw a rather pretty women in a white and blue striped sleeveless one piece dress with a sailor-style collar. She seemed like a nice women his eyes widened as he saw her place a 1000 berri note. He watched as other people had thrown in smaller amounts of change but still it was kind of them so for every time he received some coins he said kindly and respectfully "Thank you so much." He moved his fingers slowly along with the song and fished on a high note that he hoped would touch people deeply. He smiled and took a bow to the people as they clapped at his performance. He so did enjoy preforming for people it made him feel somewhat at ease and the rage inside him quiet if only for a little while. The memory he held within him would never be gone until he had exacted revenge upon the man. He curled his toes in anger at the thought as flashes of the incident of the death of his father. He turned his head and gave a low bow to the women who had given him the thousand berri note. "Thank you so much for your generous donation my dear lady." He smiled kindly and gave her a smile and cleared his throat and spoke "For my next composition ill be playing something i have been working on so please don't hold back your reviews." He chuckled and poised his violin. he clutched his chest where he felt the locket of his parents that dangled beneath his shirt he exhaled slowly and took in a short breath and calmed himself. This song he was going to be playing through out Mariejois his voice would echo throughout the halls of the holy land and all would know and be afraid. He smiled and put on a calm exterior but deep inside him he could feel the faint satisfaction and pleasure at the idea of what he would do someday. "One night, I hold on you Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, you Mariejois, Mariejois, Mariejois, Mariejois And who are you the proud lord said That I must bow so low Only a cat of a different coat That's all the truth i know In a coat of gold, a coat of red A lion still has claws And mine are long and sharp, my Lord As long and sharp as yours And so he spoke, and so he spoke That Lord of Mariejois And now the rains weep o'er his halls With no one there to hear Yes, now the rains weep o'er his halls And not a soul to hear"

Maybird noticed the glance he was giving her every so often. Almost as if he was keeping track of her. She was glad she was able to wrap her ports before stepping out on the town. The flesh coloered wrapping was around the ports on her thigh, shin, bicep forearm and around the palms of her hands. When his song ended, she applauded as well. Now off to find some place to eat. Over his shoulder there seemed to be a nice quiet cafe. That would be the place to go. but before she could step away, he mentioned to her about the donation and that he had another song that he wanted a reveiw on. Stopping before she could really move, she stood there and silently listened to the song. Half way through she removed another 1000 Beli note and dropped it in the case. It was the best way she could give a reveiw at the moment, other than the way she told her father everything was fine.
As she stood there she picked up some clues about hsi song. He's apparently from the Holy Land. It spoke of a Lord, being from Mariejois, it might mean a Celestial Dragon. Claws were always used as symbolisms for weapons. When was the last time claws were used to pick flowers or brush hair. The song seemed to end with sadness. She had only been in the presence of a Celestial Dragon once in her life and that feeling as they left did give her a bit of sadness. She didn't know why, but she cried as they left. She couldn't even remember anything else about the dragon. |

| [attr="class","yes"]There was nothing that lifted the crew's spirits quite like a bit of shore leave. They had been at sea for some time, and a significant portion of the crew were fresh recruits. And even some of those who weren't were at least new to the ship, which always seemed to lead to a bit of extra tension. Adjusting to a new captain, new peers and a new ship was a jarring experience, one he was all too familiar with himself. Double jointed arms stretched into the air, the loose sleeves of his shirt sliding down a bit as he did so. Hands then moved down, thumbs tucking themselves behind his suspenders as he followed the road with a smile on his face. He had high hopes for some of his new additions. Multiple fruit users, a cyborg, and some people who just had that spark of potential. That first mate was going to be a problem though. Just the kind of problem he loved to have.
The dark skinned captain paused on the street, brows raising as the sound of music caught his ear. With no other goals in mind, he decided he may as well have something nice to listen to while he did nothing. He was lucky enough to approach just as a new song was being played. Hands slid down into his pockets as he listened, extended arms being allowed to dangle at his sides. Eyes narrowed slightly as he listened to the lyrics, a faint smile and raised brows revealing a hint of curiosity. A quick scan of the surrounding crowd revealed a familiar face. His favorite little walking arsenal seemed to be enjoying the music as well. Though he wasn't sure whether or not their thoughts on the song were similar.
As the song came to an end he pulled his hands from his pockets, clapping them together in an exaggerated manner. "A beautiful song and a beautiful voice! I'd say if you were a lady I'd offer you dinner. Damn shame." With a laugh he took a step towards the man, thumbs sliding back down behind his suspenders as he nodded to the musician. "That song. You put a lot of heart into it. I've got to ask. What's the story? A song like that's always got a meaning behind it. Am I right?"

Zanji continued to sing his song as well as play the strings along his violin in unison. He felt somewhat pleased as he looked around as more and more people came up and gathered around the fountain throwing in there spare change and what not into his violin case. He gracious nodded his head each time he saw a person place a few coins or dollars into his case. Soon the case was beginning to fill up this brought a rather larger smile onto his face his fingers ceased there movements as he finished the final notes of his song. The crowd of people clapped there hands he even saw a few faces with tears on there faces. His song in some ways was meant to be sad but also in a way he meant it to be a warning. He wondered if anyone would get that hidden message that lay within its sad tones. He took notice of a man who had approached the crowd and was clapping at him at a exaggerated manner this seemed to piss zanji off just a little bit but he was unsure of the mans true feelings.
So he was going to let that side for the time being see how things played out. He gave a gracious bow tot he man though not wishing to be rude and his eyes widened in shock. Before him stood a man whose facial structure looked exactly like his own though his skin was darker and he had a different skeletal structure. He looked and examined him his eyes narrowing as he understood the man was from the long arm tribe. He had heard of those people before his father had spoken of tales of them. His smile slowly began to recede back and become just a grin upon his face. "Thank you for the review my good sir i always appreciate a honest critic about my music." He slowly turned about and faced down towards his violin case and was about to reach down and collect the money when he saw a hand reach out as a man pushed passed the crowd and ran in and swooped up his violin case money and all. His eyes widened in anger and he shouted " Someone stop that thief!"
His eyes widened in disbelief as the man ran down the street his anger boiled as he pushed passed the people. His anger reached over his boiling point as he gave chase after the thief since the crowd had done nothing to aid him . He was not going to allow that man to get away his favorite and most precious treasure was inside that case his mothers voice on a tone dial that was hidden inside the casing. He growled and was almost tempted to use his devil fruit powers but with so many people about he didn't want to display his abilities. He wanted to keep that a secret for as long as possible especially if there were any off duty marines on the island. He screamed a the top of his lungs " Get back you your thieving bastard!" His violin and bow lay with in his hands as he ran at full speed though he was making extra care not to bump into anyone or anything for he did not wish to damage his beloved instrument.

It took a moment but she saw her Captain in the crowd. At least now the song was over and she wasn't bound to pay for another song, she could potentially get out of here and get something to eat before her weekly allowance was spent on music. Especially now that her Captain was talking to him. However, her escape route was interrupted by a man pushing through her and grabbing the violin case. This violinist then took off after him to retrieve it. *click* Observed theft. Theft is a crime. Individual now listed as Criminal, not a Civilian. Law one: She may not injure a civilian or Marine or, through inaction, allow a a civilian or Marine to come to harm. If she allowed the musician to pursue, there was a chance he could come to harm. *click* She looked over to her Captain and snapped to attention. A sign that she was "on the clock" She then took off straight down the street in pursuit.
After turning the corner into the alley, she knew she would not get close enough to physically detain the criminal. She had to act though. Her right hand opened completely. Her palm and the back of the hand seeming to suck inward before the wrapping shredded, revealing the port that could allow one to see completely throguh her hand. But at the moment, there was a brilliant glowing ball in the center of it spinning around. Her eyes locked onto the target and took aim. The violinist crossed her path a few times, but soon enough she had a line. The ball of oxygen raced out like a bullet going for the back of his head. |

| [attr="class","yes"]He nodded to the musician, still smiling to himself as he responded to his praise. Of course he didn't try answer his question. Honestly he was surprised he had the guts to sing the song in public, it's lyrics being so easily misconstrued as having a less than positive message regarding the Holy Hand. Letting out a breath he reached into his back pocket, about to remove his wallet to pay the man. He may have been spitting out potential propaganda, but as an artist he couldn't deny the quality of the music. Talent like that, however misguided it's user may be, was deserving of reward. And if he did turn out to be some sort of revolutionary then the money would find it's way back to his pocket regardless. However his movements were interrupted by the sudden appearance of the thief, the man boldly sprinting forward and scooping up the chest. Hand moved to his side, about to draw the sabre that hung by his side.
A glance towards Maybird was all he needed to realize that wouldn't be necessary. Giving the woman a wink before nodding in the direction of the man. "Kill him."
By then both the musician and the man were long gone, Maybird following soon after. While the others ran off in a dead heat, Fredric simply followed along at a casual pace. His gait was more of a light jog, his face reflecting the same lack of urgency. He had little doubt his mechanically augmented shipwright would have any trouble pursuing a common purse snatcher. The sound of her arm-cannon was like music to his ears. There was no way either of these strangers expected such a little lady to have a gun hidden in those dainty little arms of her.
After trailing behind the group for a ways he made his way to the alleyway, taking only a single step in through the opening. He stood in place, arms resting on the decorated hilts of his sabres as he watched events unfold. This would be a perfect opportunity to watch the living weapon in action. Of course should things get out of hand he would have no choice but to intervene. Though he highly doubted that would be necessary.

Zanjis eyes focused upon the nearby surroundings he was going to try and get everything into detail and analyze what he could do without causing to much destruction. He did not wish to do to much damage and get noticed b the local police or worse the navy. He watched as out of the corner of his eye he saw the women transform her arm into something reminiscent of what looked like a weapon. His eyes widened as he could sense the cold lifelessness of her gaze as she took aim at the thief. He could see no remorse with in her eyes and he could only come to one conclusion she was going to kill him. He swore and moved at his top speed and moved in front of the women's line of sight as she fired the shot. His back was to her and he took the hit of the compressed air ball. He smirked as he fell hard face forward his body stiff like a corpse holding his breath. Inside Zanji's mind he was rolling around having a fit of giggles at his little actions perhaps this is what she needed to get her head on straight.
He lay on the ground for a few seconds and his right hands index finger twitched as he took in a deep breath and got back onto his feet. He wiped off the grim and dust off from his black vest with gold buttons. His black dress pants were now covered with grime and muck as he sighed and cracked his neck to the side like it was nothing at all to him. "Don't you think that's a bit much he would of died if that had hit him." He slowly began to walk towards the thief making sure that the women was unable to get a clean shoot at the man again. He didn't know what she was exactly she could be a devil fruit eater but she could also be a cyborg he really didn't care at the moment. The thief reached into his pocket and pulled out a pistol his hands shaking terribly as he stuttered " Sstay away from me you freaks... Ill use thiss if i have to." Zanji chuckled and he cracked his right hand the cartilage popping loudly. "Aww how cute you go ahead and do that." His body was relaxed and showing no sign of fear but only a single emotion rage though he appeared calm and cool his body would give off a feeling of anger that anyone with a good sense of intuition could feel.
The thief screamed as he fired off a single shoot without taking aim the pistol going off and the bullet impacting into the wall besides zanjis left ear. He continued along his walk towards the man and raised his hand right behind his shoulder and stood at point blank range at the man. "Let this be a lesson to you not to take what does not belong to you!" He reached out and grabbed his violin cases handle then punched with full force not holding back a single millimeter of power he sent the man into the the side of the brick wall the man loosing a few teeth in the process as he snatched away the case before the man had taken the full impact of his attack. He looked down at the man who was bleeding and now unconscious. He quickly got down onto one knee and opened the case and counted the money and looked in the center of the casing and pulled a small brown flap that opened a small compartment in the casing. He sighed with relief as his precious treasure was safe. He took it out and clasped it in his hand and placed it next to his heart. He slowly turned around the object now visible within his hand as he muttered "thank goodness your safe." He held within his hand a small marble white circular spiral shell that was no bigger than the palm of his hand. "Sorry about ruining your shot but I couldn't risk the chance of your shot damaging this."

Maybird watched as the scene unfolded. By the sounds of the musician's words, he stopped her attack on purpose. *click* Impedeing a Marine in the pursuit of Apprehension of a criminal was a crime. Criminals commit crimes. Musician was noted as Criminal, not civilian. *click* This was important as the thief had drawn a pistol and aimed a the musician. Her code did not say anything about protecting criminals. She was too far away from the ship to call in her weapons. Plus she wouldn't be able to fit any of them in the small purse she had. After the violinist had knocked out the other, she approached softly. Right hand clenching. It was going to take a little bit to pull in the reserves to take another shot, but she could handle this hand to hand.
As he turned around and apologized for ruining her shot, she was already right next to him and half way through the swing of an vicious cyborg-rrific uppercut. Her eyes telling of one thing. Her target was now changed. The thief was subdued and could easily be apprehended. She now had to subdue and apprehend the violinist. To think she funded a criminal. Was he a con artisit? Was it even legal for him to open business of his manner in the center of town? As her hand came back down, she tossed her purse to ehr captain, three sets of cuffs clinked inside her purse. Considering he took one of her shots, he wasn't purely human. She would need to break him. |

| [attr="class","yes"]Head shook slowly as he watched the musician maneuver himself to intercept the impact. Poor guy either really didn't want the thief to get hurt or didn't want them to damage that case of his. Or maybe he was just an idiot. No matter what his reasons were, it was a shame he had to take that hit. Poor guy was just a musician. Sure he was spitting propaganda, but he didn't show any signs of being anything but a man with an opinion. Brows rose as Zanji pushed himself up off the ground, not even seeming to be effected by the impact. He would have at least expected a broken nose after that. This man wasn't normal. His first instinct was some sort of devil fruit. If he were strong enough to withstand that impact that thief wouldn't made it nearly as far as he did. That bit of information just moved him from a harmless position to a potential threat. Anyone with a possibly negative opinion of the World Government and the power to do something about it was a potential threat. He was going to have to keep an eye on that one.
Fredric began to approach the group again, nodding to May. "Good shot Gremlin." His words were followed by a soft chuckle, attention turning to the musician. He seemed to have calmed down now that he had his things back. Head tilted to the side, eyes narrowing behind his glasses as he looked at the dial in his hand. He hadn't seen one of those outside of the Grand Line. Had to wonder how this guy got a hold of one. Before he could ask he found himself holding Maybird's purse, the girl dashing over to the man. Shoulders drooped, lips curving into a deep frown as he rose a brow. He probably could have stopped her mid punch, either by force or simply by ordering her to stand down. But he was curious to see what would happen. If this man was able to withstand impacts her punch shouldn't be a problem.
It wasn't until after her first blow was thrown that he spoke up. "Seaman Gremlin!" His tone changed completely, his previously relaxed voice now harsh and authoritative. "Who ordered you to attack this civilian?" He took a few steps toward her, a stern expression reflecting his disapproval. "I didn't see you ever identify yourself as a Marine. This man may have interfered, but he had no idea who you were." The arm holding her bag extended, pushing the purse into her chest. "Think before you act, Seaman. This is your only warning." Oddly enough, this situation was perfect from his perspective. He could get a better look at this man's abilities, assuming he had any, he got to see Maybird's willingness to take action and now he got to see how she reacted to his correction. Being the daughter of Mavis, it could really go either way. Hopefully she would be a good little soldier and accept his scolding.
Turning his attention back to Zanji he took a deep breath, expression relaxing as he reached over to place a hand on his shoulder. "Sorry about that, son. Hope she didn't hurt you too bad. You get everything? All your money still there?" He leaned to the side, peeking around at the unconscious thief. That guy really packed a punch. No way this guy was just a street performer.

Zanji was somewhat shocked and appalled at the closeness of the women as he was only halfway through his apology when she was standing right before him. He was about to speak again when she delivered a powerful uppercut to his face. Oh so this women wanted a fight it seems if she wanted one he was going to give her one. He didn't understand her problem with him could she be that pissed at him for just blocking her shot. It was not like the impact was gonna do any damage to him thanks to his lovely little devil fruit. He held back his neck from stretching as he was launched upwards and he fell down to the ground motionless his hand still clenching his precious tone dial. He was not going to give out the nature of his ability oh o the time was not yet right for that. His expression changed form the lifeless expression on the ground to a smirk as he picked himself up. His eyes narrowed in focus and intensity he was going to get that girl back for the hit but before he could plan his next move he heard a loud voice barking orders at the women.
So it seemed she was a marine he was not going to mess with the marines just yet he was far to outnumbered currently and e would not escape unscathed. He needed to get a crew together as soon as possible to get his pirating adventure underway. He spat onto the ground and cracked his neck to the sides. "He does have a fair point she did not address herself as a navy officer nor the fact did you so I had no idea I was in the presence of the marines, other wise I wouldn't of interfered." In some way this was a half truth he would of still interfered after all his possessions were the ones that were stolen and he will not tolerate that from anyone. He took a step back as the man approached him and attempted to place his hand on his shoulder. He was wary at the moment and on his guard."I'm fine sir thanks you for asking no harm no foul but if she continues I will defend myself." He gently caressed the dial with his thumb as he took in a few calming breaths and looked out of the corner of his right eye at his violin case. "Yes everything is there though the money wasn't what was most important to me." He made sure his thumb stayed clear of the button on the tone dial not wishing to activate it. this song was for him and him alone to truly understand. His mother wrote it up before she passed on.
He bent down slowly and picked up his violin case by the handle and would slowly edge towards his violin and bow with his feet. He needed to be careful no sudden hostile movements. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with two marines. He clicked the case open and pocketed the money and placed the violin back in its case and placed the tone dial in his vests inner pocket. "Alright now that that's been settled I suppose we should address the elephant in the room shall we." He sighed and reached into his pocket of his vest and gently held up the tone dial. "I could not afford for your seaman gremlin was it to damage this item with her shot its all i have left of my family you see and i will protect it at any cost." He tightened his right hand and watched the women keeping his left eye on her while maintaining his eye on the man. He was not going to be sucker punched again. "So am I under arrest for unknowingly obstructing a marine?"

As soon as her Captain had barked out the command, the second law clicked into place. She must obey orders given to her by Marine Superiors except where such orders would conflict with the First Law or orders of a Higher Ranked Marine. Instantly she snapped to attention and stood to the side, parting the way for her captain. No Civilian was in a possibility of being harmed and she was close enough to take immediate action in case he meant harm to her Captain. To be fair, she really didn't have a way to identify herself as a Marine in pursuit. As his attention went to the violinist, she stepped back and retrieved her purse. There was a bit of a rattle in her head. Something from the altercation?
Opening her pocketbook, she retrieved a pair of needlenose pliers and unscrewed her left twin tail. With the bolt removed, bringin the hair with it, she placed the tool inside and moved it around slowly. With a bit of fine movement, she found the pesky culprit. The bolt wasn't fastened tightly this morning. She was expecting some easy shore leave and the excitment made her a little lacidasical with grooming. She didn't expect action. With the pebble cleared, she re twisted the bolt back down and gave it an extra turn to be sure it was tight before adjusting the ribbon around the tail. A little more folical teasing and the bolt was gone. She pretty much ignored the insult to her accuracy, there was a pebble to find. Speaking of the culprit, she placed it and the pliers into her pocketbook and closed it up tight. |

Though it was a little disappointing he stepped away from his hand, the marine simply shrugging before placing his hands back into his pockets. Corner of his lips rose into a smirk as he shook his head, glancing toward Maybird as she picked out her pebble. This whole robot thing was going to take a lot of getting used to. Seeing someone pull a pebble out of their head like that was just...unsettling.
Attention turned back to Zanji, his tone still calm and smooth as before. "Careful there, son. She's still my subordinate. You know whose side I would be on if it came down to it. Course she's a good soldier so you shouldn't have to worry about that." He leaned forward as he spoke, stepping closer to get a look at the dial. It must have some important information in it. Perhaps even more of his propaganda. Very interesting.
Eyes only left the dial as it was slipped back into his pocket, gaze then quickly locking on to the eyes of it's owner. Brows rose, lips pressing into a flat line as he shook his head. "Well you've got a bit of a mouth on ya, huh?" He laughed to himself, taking a step back as he took a quick glance at Maybird. "It's Officer Gremlin to you, son. She may be a seaman, but she's still a Marine and deserves that respect." She may have screwed up in his eyes, but her actions did continue to provide useful information. And he was certain it wouldn't be an issue in the future. "You're not under arrest, son. Just a bit of a misunderstanding, is all. I apologize on Officer Gremlin's behalf. She's a bit on the mute side." He reached over and put a hand on her shoulder, giving a bit of a squeeze as well as a smile. "I gotta say though..." Focus returned to Zanji, lips pursing s he appeared to think for a moment. "If you don't mind me askin'. What's in that dial that you would put your life on the line to protect it. Surely a memoir is of no use to a dead man."

Zanji let out a sigh of relief as he saw the women stand down from attacking him further. Good she at least was able to follow orders well. His eyes widened ins surprise as she began to unscrew her left pig tail and use what appeared to be needle nose pliers and carefully insert it into her head. Ok that was strange yet oddly it was super cool to him. He smirked as she gracefully began to move the pliers around. She definitely knew the layout of her body she was most definitely a a cyborg. He would need to consider looking into that would be pretty cool to be a cyborg though yet again he did enjoy his body being now made completely of rubber. It did come in handy so perhaps he would look to find a cybernetic crew mate to his roster. His attention was returned as the man spoke up addressing him as son. This pushed a little of his buttons his toes curling up slowly and releasing. He needed to take this carefully and speak calmly he did not want any trouble at the moment. He smirked and nodded his head at the man and spoke calmly "I respect a man who stands by his subordinates that we have in common but would you kindly not call me son, there was only one man who could call me that and he is long passed on my name is Zanji it is a pleasure to meet you both." He gave a polite bow to each of them as a sign of respect after all they were marines. Once again he was addressed as son which began to boil up a little anger anger but his face and body remained calm and collected. "Ah no wonder she was unable to talk my apologies but have you considered install a voice box or new vocals cords into her she is a cyborg. I could tell by the way she put so much power into her punches not to mention the whole hair thing." He chuckled in a jokingly tone at his comment and straightened out his posture so he was standing up straight. His back cartilage cracked loudly as he let out a sigh of relief and muttered "Ahh much better." He chuckled and spoke in a joking tone to answer the mans question about him having a bit of a mouth "Well maybe a little bit I know I need to work on it it will get me into trouble one of these days." He let out another sigh of relief as the man stated that he was not under arrest. That was music to his ears in a way he couldn't very well get on his adventure if he was in prison. He brought the dial up to his chest height and opened his palm. "Oh the dial my father had recorded with him onpianoand my mother singing it's a bit embarrassing but she was signing a lullaby for me." He rubbed the back of his head embarrassed his cheeks turning a little red "Here see for yourself good sir." He pressed down on the dials button and the sounds of a a piano began to play and soon a voice followed afterwords. His ears rang with pleasure hearing the sound of his mothers voice he almost could imagine her being right there in front of him holding him in her alp and singing to him. Her voice echoed out from the tone dial and in the alley way magnifying its brilliance at least to his own ears. Tone Dial Song
